Bringing home a rescue dog can feel exciting and overwhelming all at once.
Every rescue settles differently. Some need quiet decompression, some need confidence building, and many owners simply want reassurance they’re doing the right thing.
Our Rescue Dog Welcome Package helps you:

The package includes:
- 1 Hour, in-person Assessment
- x 3 – 1 Hour, 1-2-1 Sessions (Option of working with one of our trained dogs or a Stooge dog)
- Online Support for 4 months
- Access to Demonstration Videos
- Full written reports following each session
The individual sessions will include:
- A thorough assessment of your dog’s behaviours, history (if known) and general demeanor
- Considering your dog’s socialisation experiences and interactions with other dogs.
- Advising on decompression expectations.
- Ensuring that you have the most appropriate environment set-up.
- Providing advice on feeding, toileting, sleep and rest routines.
- Introductions to family and management around visitors.
- Educating you on understanding canine body language and recognising early signs of reactivity.
- General lead walking and other equipment advice.
- Developing a systematic desensitisation plan to gradually expose your dog to other dogs in a controlled and positive manner.
- Enhancing your dog’s focus, engagement and impulse control.
Most of all, preparing you for this new relationship and supporting your dog in their new forever home.
