In making a booking with us, you are confirming you have read, understood and accepted our terms and conditions as set out below:

Health and Safety

While we will always endeavour to ensure that training is delivered safely, in participating in our training sessions or classes, all activities are entirely at the risk of the participant. Harrisons Dog Training nor the owners or landlords of our training venues, accept any responsibilities, whatsoever, for any injuries or losses sustained which are not covered by our business insurance. Handlers and/or owners remain responsible for their dogs at all times and are advised to ensure they have adequate pet or household insurance cover for liability in the unlikely event of damage or injury caused by their dog to property or to a third party.

You are responsible for the behaviour and actions of your dog while attending training sessions and on site.

All dogs attending class should be fully vaccinated and up to date with their boosters.

Do not bring your dog to class if they:

– Have been in contact with another dog infected by a contagious disease such as Kennel Cough

– Are a Bitch in season.

(If a dog is unable to attend classes, owners are welcome to attend alone in order to keep up to date with the training course.)

Owners are expected to clean up after their dogs in and around the training venues so please come prepared with poo bags. (Bins are provided at all of our training venues)

All dogs must be kept under control and on a lead, unless you are told otherwise, i.e. within a training exercise

Any accidents or issues involving a person or a dog must be reported immediately to the trainer.

Cars are parked at their owner’s risk. (At our outdoor venue please use the car parking spaces provided. At the hall, please use the street parking outside the building ensuring that you do not block access for any of the neighbouring properties.)

Bookings:

Bookings are not confirmed until full payment is received in advance of the first session.

Refund Policy:

Classes (before starting): Due to the overheads associated with running classes we require 5 full business days notice to cancel a course before the start date. A handling fee of £5.00 will be incurred. As we have limited availability, once the course is fully booked we lose further possibility of bookings. If you need to cancel please make sure you give us as much notice as possible to help us keep our prices down.

Classes (once started). If you need to cancel the course during the course refunds will be handled on a case by case basis. Refunds are not generally given unless your dog has become ill, or passed away. Sadly, this does occasionally occur and we will refund the remainder of the course with no handling fee.

Where deposits are taken, these are non-refundable where you cancel the booking.

We are not able to give discounts if you cannot attend every week of the course, the set fee for the course/activity is to be paid.

We reserve the right to change the content, timing, dates, venue or instructor. We try to avoid this as much as possible, but sometimes this is unavoidable, particularly with changes in the weather meaning we have to postpone a session.

1-2-1 Sessions: If you need to cancel a pre-booked 1-2-1 session, refunds will be handled on a case by case basis. Again we would ask that you give as much notice as possible if you need to rearrange or cancel a booking.

Where you have booked three or five 1-2-1 sessions at the discounted price and have completed the first session, refunds are not provided for any subsequent sessions should you choose to cancel them.

If a booking is cancelled due to the weather, we will let all participants know as soon as we can and reschedule to an alternative date. We will not be liable for any losses or expenses arising from amendments to the course or cancellations.

Photographs & Videos

At times we might take video or photographic images that we might share on social media. We will only show images and film that show clients and their dogs in a good light. If you would not be happy with this, please let us know. Otherwise, this allows us to use images taken in classes. You have the right to ask us to remove an image if you wish.
